In Instanbul there are plenty of Places wehre you and your wife can listen to this kind of music they are called "Türkü Cafe Bar" we cannot recomend and any CD Store in Particular because there are so many of them. This why we would recommend you to find your own best Store as you two explore this wonderfull City.

Dear Turku Radyo,
Please forgive my english language. I really enjoy your music streams.
My wife and I are planning to visit Istanbul in a few months and would really like to learn more about this music and to hear it performed live.
Can you recommend places where we can see this music performed, particularly the instrumental music. ( We like the vocal music too!) Also we'd appreciate any recommendations to the best CD stores in Istanbul that sell this kind of Turkish music.
